Good education will always be based around a combination of traditional teaching methods and modern technology, but at Lochinver we go further than this to provide an all round education that will be exciting, challenging and stimulating. Working on issues such as relationships, drug education and study skills we make sure that every base is covered and every pupil understands his responsibility to the wider school community. Our motto ‘to perservere is to succeed’ acknowledges that strength of character must be allied to developing talent in order to thrive in the dynamic and challenging world of the 21^st century.

From such security each boy is challenged to improve against the standards that he sets for himself in every area of school life.
